asthma cure

Asthma is a chronic (long-term) condition that affects the airways in your lungs. The airways are the tubes that allow air to flow in and out of your lungs. When you have asthma, these airways can become inflamed and narrow, making it more difficult for air to exit your lungs when you breathe out.

Asthma affects approximately 1 in 13 people in the United States. Various factors, such as pollen, physical activity, viral infections, or cold air, can trigger or worsen asthma symptoms. These triggers can lead to an asthma attack, where the symptoms intensify.

While there is no cure for asthma, it can be effectively managed. A management plan often includes monitoring your symptoms, avoiding known triggers, and using medications as needed to control flare-ups.
